The “virgin voyages cruises 2022” is a cruise ship that was intentionally taken over by the passengers. The Virgin Voyages Cruise Ship has been described as one of the most luxurious ships on the market and it is not uncommon for people to spend more than $20,000 on a single trip.
On Thursday, Virgin Voyages stated that a search and rescue mission had been begun for a passenger who had fallen overboard from the Valiant Lady cruise ship. It will cause a delay in returning to Portsmouth, United Kingdom.
Valiant Lady, Passenger Overboard
A passenger fell overboard in the early hours of Thursday morning (March 31) off the coast of Portugal on the last day of the Valiant Lady’s journey to the Canary Islands.
Virgin Voyages acknowledged the beginning of a search and rescue effort, which it is coordinating with local authorities. The cruise company also said that the overboard was done on purpose and that no foul play was suspected.

“Our Valiant Lady Crew is undertaking a search and rescue effort, and we anticipate a delayed arrival into Portsmouth tomorrow evening,” Virgin Voyages stated. We’re in constant contact with government officials and port officials, and we’ll update our Sailors as soon as we obtain more information.”
In conjunction with the Coast Guard, the cruise ship altered from its present itinerary to execute a search pattern. The search included Valiant Lady and Coast Guard assets, according to reports. The Virgin Voyages cruise has now proceeded on its way to Portsmouth, United Kingdom, and the search has been abandoned.

The ship’s return to Portsmouth has been pushed back several hours. Valiant Lady is not anticipated to arrive until after 7:00 p.m. on April 1, according to people aboard. The next planned departure was at 7:00 p.m. on April 1, however it will almost certainly be postponed. The ship will go to Zeebrugge, Belgium, for a three-night round-trip cruise.
