The MSC Euribia, the newest ship to sail from Newcastle International Cruise Terminal in January 2018 has been revealed. The “msc cruises 2022” is a cruise ship that will be built by the MSC Cruises company. The company has announced the winner of their design contest, and revealed the itineraries for its inaugural voyage to Hull.

MSC Cruises has begun accepting reservations for its future ship, the MSC Euribia, which is set to debut in early June 2023.

The LNG-powered yacht will spend her first season traveling from Kiel, Germany, to the Norwegian fjords, providing seven-night trips. Copenhagen, Denmark, Hellesylt in Norway’s Geirangerfjord, Alesund, Norway, and Flm, Norway will be among the ports visited.

Members of the Voyagers Club who book MSC Euribia will enjoy their standard 5% discount, plus an additional 5% booking discount and double Voyagers Club points. Silver, Gold, and Diamond members will additionally get a $50 onboard credit per passenger.

In addition to the itinerary, MSC Cruises has announced the winner of its Euribia hull design competition.

Through Talent House, the line conducted a worldwide design competition to develop a one-of-a-kind piece of art inspired by the sea and its marine life for the vessel’s hull. The design will be displayed on the ship indefinitely.

The winner was German artist Alex Flaemig, who submitted designs from 59 nations. The five finalists’ designs will be presented in a new gallery aboard the ship.

“We have made it our duty to equip our ships with the newest and most modern environmental technology and solutions, with MSC Euribia showing the finest of them to date,” stated Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman of MSC Cruises.

“We organized a competition to design the hull for our newest LNG ship to assist us demonstrate our unshakable commitment to the environment as this ship travels around the globe,” said the company. Mr. Flaemig’s design wonderfully caught this message of enthusiasm and devotion to protecting the marine environment and its intricate ecology, and it sends a powerful message to everyone who views this ship to rescue the oceans.”

Flaemig’s design celebrates the wonders of the marine environment by combining the colors of the MSC Cruises and MSC Foundation logos to create a gradient effect that depicts sea fauna and flora throughout the hull.

MSC Euribia is the second LNG-powered ship in MSC Cruises’ fleet. The line has committed to using LNG to power at least three more forthcoming ships.
