We don’t know if you can be any more innovative after MSC Cruises unveiled the first humanoid robot bartender at sea, Rob. The new robot can be seen on the cruise line’s new mega-ship MSC Virtuosa.

MSC Star Club and Rob!

We’ve already been introduced to a number of Royal Caribbean robot bartenders, but now MSC Cruises has unveiled the world’s first humanoid sea bartender, Rob! It is available exclusively on board MSC Virtuosa, MSC’s newly delivered flagship.

Rob will be able to mix and serve his signature cocktails, as well as a wide variety of custom drinks like a real human bartender. He will even be able to have a witty conversation with customers, making for a real bar experience.

From time to time Rob will demonstrate his dance moves while telling anecdotes, riddles and space quizzes. He will work in the MSC Star Club, the cruise line’s new site.

The venue will be very futuristic with 3D holograms, an immersive digital art wall and an endless interactive digital table with 12 seats, allowing guests to explore space with their own personal galactic journey.

There will be dedicated vertical digital booths where guests can order. Rob will then use all his skills to create the perfect cocktail. He will be able to serve a large number of guests because he speaks eight languages.
