When the Crystal Endeavor sails for the first time in its history, it will be doing so with a diverse crew. The Endeavor holds an important place in the history of Crystal Cruises, joining the Crystal One-World Fleet in 2011, but it is still a new ship, which means it has yet to be tested by the sea. The Endeavor will undergo rigorous testing, including a year at sea, before it is ready to join Crystal One-World, the largest cruise fleet in the world, which means it will be sailing for the first time.
The Crystal Island is an amazing vessel, as she can cover as much as 14,000 nautical miles a day. She is the first and only vessel outfitted with a solar-based power system, which can convert sunlight into electricity, as well as a hybrid propulsion system that allows her to cut through the seas as fast as a speedboat. Her first voyage, a first on a yacht, starts at Miami Beach on November 23rd, and will first take her to the Bahamas, then on to the Dominican Republic.
As part of its first season, Crystal Expedition Cruises has announced that its newest ship, the Crystal Endeavor, would sail a new route in the Caribbean in October and November.
The luxurious yacht will set sail from Miami on October 25 on Expedition Yachting: Caribbean Mystique, a nine-night itinerary that will take her to San Juan, Puerto Rico, Great Exuma, Man of War Bay, and Inagua Island in the Bahamas, White Bay and Great Harbor on Jost Van Dyke, Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands, Gustavia, St. Barts, and Saba, Netherlands before returning to Puerto Rico.
What’s Hot Right Now
Its inaugural season started with a circumnavigation of Iceland. It will start sailing the Norwegian fjords in September, followed by a trip from London to Lisbon, Portugal, towards the end of the month.
Each location is designed to highlight the Caribbean’s breathtaking natural splendor. Because of its smaller size, the Crystal Endeavor offers plenty of lesser-visited regions to explore, as well as the destinations that are so popular among cruisers. From swimming with the pigs in Major Cay to climbing through cloud forests on Saba and visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Castillo de San Felipe del Morro in San Juan.
The itinerary is currently accepting reservations. All-inclusive prices start at $13,999 per person, including a $3,000 Book Now Savings offer and a $300 per person As You Wish onboard credit. Customers who are new to Crystal may save 2.5 percent, while returning customers can save 5%.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for U.S. travelers to experience Crystal Endeavor during her inaugural season from a port close to home, and this new Caribbean itinerary is designed to provide exactly what luxury travelers are looking for – exclusive experiences and active outdoor pursuits in fascinating locales delivered with the utmost care and service,” said Crystal president Jack Anderson.
“Guests who have sailed onboard Crystal Endeavor since her launch in July have raved about the expedition experience, praising the expansive public spaces, Michelin-inspired cuisine, and unrivaled one-to-one staff-to-guest ratio, with every suite featuring Crystal’s renowned butler service,” Anderson continued.
In Crystal’s fleet, the Crystal Endeavor is the eighth ship. It will accommodate a maximum of 200 people and will have various eating choices, a casino, a spa, and a fitness facility. There will also be 18 Zodiacs, 14 sea kayaks, and a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) on board for visitors to experience the deep sea’s splendor. It fulfills its mission of offering passengers with one-of-a-kind and spectacular expedition-style experiences while also being one of the greenest ships ever constructed.
