Budapest ice rink in February

The Városliget ice rink in Budapest is the largest outdoor ice rink in Europe. It is located on the edge of the city forest, the largest green space in the capital with stunning views of Vaidahunyad Castle!
This unique ice rink in Budapest is open from mid-November until the end of February.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. (8 p.m. on Sunday)
Price: 1500 feet (≈ €5) – weekday to Friday afternoon, then 2000 feet – weekend (≈ €7). Skate rental: 1800 feet (≈ 6 €) – website – map.

CONCERT. BASIC LEVEL

In the majestic setting of St. Stephen’s Basilica in the centre of Pest, a weekly organ concert adapted by Miklus Teleca is offered. The arias in the programme are performed by Kolos Kovac, one of the most famous orchestral singers in Hungary, and you can also listen to flutist Eleonora Krusic.

Concert every Thursday at 20:00 with an adjustable program: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro Stradella, Tomaso Albinoni, Franz Liszt

Mangalica Pork Festival – 5-7 February 2021.

Discover Mangalika, a Hungarian speciality of the Iberian pig family! Excellent quality ham, with a strong taste and a well soaked character.
The Mangalitz Festival, in the centre of the city of Pest, will host the 7th edition of the Mangalitz Festival. From February (12:00 to 21:00) to Sunday 9 February. February (10:00 to 18:00) many food producers and other culinary and artisanal stands. Free entrance!

VALENTINE’S DAY

In February, when we arrive on Valentine’s Day. When you come to Budapest in February, discover the different cruises and dinners on the Danube organized for this unique occasion!

Budapest Cruises on the Danube – Budapest in February

Explore Budapest with a boat trip on the Danube (45mn-1h), day and night to admire the Budapest Castle, the Matthias Church, the Hungarian Parliament, the Citadel, Hotel Gellért and other attractions.
During the cruise it is possible to dine every evening (two hours and forty-five).

In the evening, departing at 7.45 pm, you can enjoy a two and a half hour boat trip on the Danube, accompanied by a four-course menu and a musical show of local Hungarian artists (from November to February with a provisional departure at 7 pm).

SAVINGS IN SECOND PHASE BATHS IN FEBRUARY 2021

The Séchenyi baths host open-air parties on Saturday evenings. In this spectacular setting you will discover animations, dancers, 3D projections and live DJ sets for a unique winter evening! Information and tickets on the site, Spartacus booking. Video of the Sparty event:
