Located near some of the best national parks, these spectacular luxury campsites offer guests the opportunity to sleep under the stars rather than in a traditional tent. Considered by many to be a rite of passage, the visit to America’s parks is an event that many look forward to during the holidays. But while many of us love the outdoors and enjoy the idea of sitting around a campfire, the end result of sleeping in a sleeping bag doesn’t sound appealing.

Forget the worries of sleeping on a cold, hard floor and prepare to be exhausted. Luxury glamping includes daily chef-prepared meals and clean-cut sheets – no need to be rough, it’s as generous as it gets.

7 impressive luxury campsites

These seven luxury glamping spots are the solution to enjoying the outdoors without sacrificing the comforts of home. Inspired by the great American road trip and the nostalgic charm of the 1960s, the rooms include 10 vintage airplanes and 22 custom A-frame cabins. Guests also have the option of parking their own RV on one of the 67 pitches.

Amenities include showers, laundry facilities, a shop, a swimming pool, a hot tub and an outdoor cinema featuring classic cars. We have a feeling they will fill up quickly, so book your room at the Yonder Escalante as soon as possible.

An on-site cook prepares all meals. Between meals, guests can consider a spa treatment, take a nature excursion or simply enjoy the view.
